Despite a well rounded and minimally processed diet, Weston had four cavities by the time he was just 18 months old. Here are the supplements I began with him to help encourage healthy teeth. I found these supplements by reading “How to Cure Tooth Decay Naturally” by Nigel Ramiel and following along in the accompanying group forums of other concerned parents. This is NOT medical advice. It’s a list of our supplements.

Homeopathic Cell Salts

I found the cell salts that I felt would work best in our personal situation. I suggest contacting a Homeopathic Doctor or doing a little research to find what cell salts will work for you. BioPlasma Cell Salts are another option that is a blend of many cell salts. Here is a FAQ on cell salts by Hyland’s.

Green Pastures Fermented Cod Liver + Butter Oil

Green Pastures BLUE ICE Royal Butter Oil/Fermented Cod Liver Oil Blend Gel – Non Flavored, 8.1 fl. oz

Note: The cinnamon flavored oil has cinnamon cassia which is not approved for children under 2 (additionally, I don’t support the ingestion of essential oils)

Trace Minerals

Our water is very soft and therefore lacking minerals. I now add trace minerals to our Berkey water filter.

Concen Trace Mineral Drops

Additional Supplements (added to food or smoothies)

I just open a capsule and add it to food or smoothies.

  • Kerrygold Grassfed Butter (for Vitamin K2)
We buy ours in bulk at Costco but it is available at nearly every grocery store

Because we eat a lot of Kerrygold Butter I didn’t purchase a D3 supplement with vitamin k2. Vitamin D3 requires K2 to work efficiently.

Farmed Coral Tooth Paste

Coral Kids Tooth Paste

This toothpaste is loaded with trace minerals and calcium to promote strong teeth and great oral health, and is not full junky fillers like most toothpastes.
